Eisner currently covers criminal justice for The Marshall Project as an investigative fellow, and before that, wrote about science and technology for The Economist in London. In 2018, she was awarded one of four Lorana Sullivan scholarships to pursue a masters in investigative reporting at Columbia University. Eisner is Argentine-American and speaks fluent Spanish and Portuguese.
